Competitor AI Visibility

Track your brand's visibility and performance across AI search channels, benchmarked against key competitors.

Knowing how your brand performs in AI search is only half the picture. The Competitor AI Visibility section gives you the other half, showing you how your brand stacks up against the brands you are actually competing with for customer attention across LLMs.

This section lives in your Visibility tab and is one of the most strategically important parts of your Parsnipp account. GEO is a competitive game. AI platforms typically surface only a handful of brands in any given response, which means every mention your competitor earns is one you did not. Tracking competitor visibility alongside your own gives you the context you need to understand whether your performance is genuinely strong or whether you are simply unaware of how much ground competitors are gaining around you.

The Competitor AI Visibility section is made up of four cards, each with its own dedicated deep-dive in the resource center:

  1. Competitor Visibility Summary - Tracks visibility over time for each of your tracked competitors aggregated across all LLMs, giving you a longitudinal view of how the competitive landscape is shifting.

  2. Latest Competitor Snapshot - A top-line rollup of where each competitor stands right now, so you can quickly see who is winning and who is losing ground in the most recent report.

  3. Competitor Sentiment - How LLMs are talking about each competitor, and about your own brand, in terms of overall tone and sentiment. Visibility without sentiment context can be misleading, and this card fills that gap.

  4. Share of Voice - Your brand's share of the overall AI search conversation relative to competitors, calculated across branded and competitive prompts. This is one of the most important benchmarking metrics in GEO.

The number of competitors you can track depends on your Parsnipp subscription. Free plans include up to three competitors, Core plans up to five, and Advanced plans up to eight.
